The Dersingham Art Trail

Take the Trail!

The Dersingham Art Trail is a cluster of artists who are all located in or close to the village of Dersingham, West Norfolk. Trail members include several painters, a potter and a fine art photographer. Many members offer greetings cards, prints and other handmade items. A map guiding you to each studio is available at all Trail venues and on this website.

The purpose of the Trail is to link the studio venues, thereby encouraging visitors to take a tour round the village’s artists and craftworkers. At each venue you can be assured of a warm welcome, whether you are browsing for an art or craft purchase, or whether you just wish to chat to artists about their work and working methods. At most studios you’ll find that there is work in progress, so that you can experience the practitioner's working environment yourself.

About the village

Dersingham is a substantial and attractive village, conveniently located on the A149 midway between the towns of King’s Lynn and Hunstanton. The village has a full range of local services including two cafés and two pubs, plus a variety of shops. The Royal Sandringham estate with its sculpture trail and other attractions immediately adjoins the village.

More Information about this Artist

I have been painting the landscape now for nearly thirty years years, mainly in watercolour. Big skies, wide-open spaces, but urban scenes sometimes. I also teach watercolour painting and drawing, from complete beginners to more experienced artists, either here at my garden studio in Dersingham or by visiting art groups and societies.

At my studio you'll find original paintings in watercolour (and a few in oils) along with prints of some of my favourite paintings. My A6 size greetings cards are always very popular, with over thirty designs available.
